Redesign of a working office - we started from the real inconveniences of the teams, not from the vision.

For the Evolution office in Bulgaria, we had to solve, in addition to the visual problems of the space, the functional inconveniences found by the various teams in an already working office.

Design started by people

For this purpose, we gathered information from the various teams about their inconveniences in their daily lives: lack of space for outerwear and shoes during frequent coffee breaks, noise, lack of privacy, strong light from the south windows, lack of space for the tools of the TechOps team, need for a new training room with enough tables, allocation of new small office rooms, etc. We did a thorough analysis of how different teams use the rooms in the building.

We integrated the corporate symbols, logo and colors in the interior design, after familiarizing ourselves with the company’s brand book.

Airport-style lounge area

The specific thing is that the employees work independently and in shifts, which implies a completely different organization of the lounge area. Here, we designed multiple single seats with an acoustic barrier on each, with the ability to provide privacy for 25+ people at a time during short layovers, an approach typical of airports.
