Facade and interior design
The interior started at the architecture stage — because with wooden houses, everything is built into the walls.
Request a project →Work on the interior design of this wooden house in Vidin began at the architectural design stage, together with the architectural studio. In prefabricated wooden houses, all installations — electrical, plumbing and HVAC — are built directly into the wooden walls, which makes any subsequent changes extremely labor-intensive and inefficient.
In order to avoid duplication of work, we involved the interior design at an early stage and worked in parallel on the architectural drawings, layouts and facade design together with the team at LOGhomesbulgaria.
After revising the blueprints from the inside out and considering each piece of furniture, size and function, we found that the hallway storage space for outerwear and shoes was insufficient for a single-family home. Our experience shows that when there are two front entrances, in practice one always becomes the main one – that’s why we recommended to drop the second one. This change freed up significantly more storage space and led to a more serious architectural transformation: we changed the ridge, entrances, windows and facades, and the originally planned flat roof was replaced with a pitched one – more typical of wooden houses.
Working closely with fellow architects allowed the architecture, interiors and installations to work as one. The clients have been our long-term clients and once again fully trusted our decision — the project was accepted without a single correction. For a truly impressive interior, we had several prerequisites: a clear style assignment from the client, complete freedom for our studio and a realistic budget that allowed all ideas to be realized without compromising on materials, furniture and details.
Let's create something equally bold for your space.
